Terms & conditions
These terms govern access to and use of the Kalika Tech website. Separate proposals, statements of work, and signed agreements govern client projects.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
1. Introduction
Please read these terms before using the website. They concern general website use and do not by themselves define the complete commercial terms of a project engagement.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. A website visit, inquiry, or consultation booking does not by itself create a client relationship.
3. About Our Services
Kalika Tech provides digital product strategy, UI/UX design, website and web-application development, mobile development, custom software, backend and API work, infrastructure support, and technology consulting. Available services and delivery approaches may change over time.
4. Website Information
Website content is provided for general information. We aim to keep it useful and accurate, but content may be updated, corrected, removed, or become outdated without notice.
5. Project Estimates
Any automated, preliminary, or website-based estimate is indicative only and is not a binding quotation or promise of delivery. Final scope, assumptions, timing, team, and pricing are confirmed separately. New requirements, integrations, technical findings, and third-party dependencies may affect cost and timing.
6. Strategy Calls and Consultations
Booking or attending a strategy call does not guarantee availability, create an exclusive relationship, or commit either party to a project. Any engagement begins only when the relevant commercial terms are agreed.
7. Client Projects
Client work may be governed by a proposal, statement of work, service agreement, contract, invoice terms, or other written project documentation. If those documents conflict with these website terms on a project matter, the signed project agreement governs that project.
8. Client Responsibilities
Project agreements may require clients to:
- Provide accurate requirements and relevant business context.
- Supply required materials, access, and credentials securely.
- Provide decisions, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner.
- Ensure they have permission to use content, data, branding, and assets they supply.
- Identify applicable internal, industry, or legal requirements relevant to their product.
9. Scope and Change Requests
Work outside an agreed scope may require additional discovery, fees, resources, or time. We will aim to identify material changes and agree on their effect before undertaking them.
10. Timelines
Delivery dates and schedules are estimates unless a signed agreement states otherwise. They may depend on project complexity, timely client feedback, approvals, third-party services, scope changes, team availability, and unforeseen technical issues.
11. Fees and Payment
Specific pricing, deposits, payment schedules, taxes, expenses, late-payment terms, and cancellation arrangements are defined in the relevant proposal, invoice, or project agreement. The website does not override those terms.
12. Intellectual Property
Client-provided materials
Materials supplied by a client remain owned by the client or their applicable rights holder. The client is responsible for having the permissions needed for their use.
Pre-existing tools and frameworks
Pre-existing code, tools, methods, libraries, templates, and know-how remain with their existing owners unless a project agreement says otherwise.
Final project deliverables
Ownership and licensing of final deliverables are determined by the relevant project agreement, including any conditions connected to payment or third-party materials.
13. Third-Party Materials and Services
Projects and this website may use open-source software, APIs, hosting platforms, libraries, fonts, stock assets, and other third-party services. Those materials remain subject to their respective licenses, availability, pricing, and terms.
14. Portfolio and Case Studies
Where agreed with the client, completed work may be featured in a portfolio or case study. Confidential, embargoed, or restricted work will be handled according to the relevant project agreement.
15. Confidentiality
Confidential project information should be identified and handled according to the applicable non-disclosure agreement or project agreement. General website inquiries should not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
16. Website Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s original design, branding, copy, graphics, code, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Kalika Tech. They may not be reproduced, republished, or commercially exploited without permission, except where applicable law allows.
17. Permitted Website Use
You may browse and use the website for lawful personal or business-information purposes and contact us about legitimate services or opportunities.
18. Prohibited Use
- Using the website for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
- Attempting unauthorized access to accounts, systems, code, or data.
- Interfering with website operation, security, or other visitors.
- Introducing malicious code or conducting abusive automated requests or scraping.
- Impersonating another person or misrepresenting an affiliation.
- Infringing intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights.
19. External Links
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices.
20. Availability
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website. Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
21. Disclaimer
Website information is provided on a general, as-available basis. It is not professional legal, financial, or regulatory advice and should not be treated as a guarantee of project results. Specific outcomes depend on agreed requirements, decisions, dependencies, and execution.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kalika Tech will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability relating to a client project is addressed by its applicable agreement.
23. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for loss resulting from your unlawful misuse of the website or your infringement of another person’s rights. This provision should be reviewed with qualified legal counsel before publication in any jurisdiction where a broader indemnity is intended.
24. Termination or Restriction of Access
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, disruption, or legal requirements.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the website or our practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised terms.
